We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Andrew County, Missouri. You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 3+ years on the tools preferred.
