Marble cutter wanted in Bastrop County

Join our team: we are hiring a marble cutter in Bastrop County, Texas. The job is at a marble and granite workshop. What we are looking for: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish The role involves: • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
