Thermal insulation technician — Haines Borough

Join our team: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will work at an industrial plant. What we are looking for: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam You will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
