GTAW welder wanted in Capitol Planning Region

Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Overtime paid at a premium rate.
