The role involves: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner You should have: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
