We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Venango County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Full-time, day shift.
