The role involves load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
