Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Harlan County, Kentucky. You will work on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
