Aluminium TIG welder — Rockbridge County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Rockbridge County, Virginia. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
