Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Erie County, New York. You will work on a busy residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Full-time, day shift. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
