Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Cherry County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations You will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
