We are recruiting: gantry crane operator (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Columbiana County, Ohio. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
