Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Washington County, Florida. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
