Refrigeration field service technician — Burke County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Burke County, North Carolina. The job is in an HVAC service company. You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Day-to-day duties: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
