Tig welder wanted in Red Lake County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Red Lake County, Minnesota. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
