Fabricator-welder • Yankton County, South Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Yankton County, South Dakota. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
