Steel fixing chargehand • Ika South, Delta State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Ika South, Delta State. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
