CNC programmer-operator wanted in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. On the job you will handle: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Full-time, day shift.
