Brickwork mason wanted in Miller County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Miller County, Georgia. The job is on a new-build development. The role involves checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
