Requirements: • Valid digital tachograph card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience On a typical shift you will operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
