Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
