Immediate opening: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Ogbadibo, Benue State. The job is at a halal meat counter. Your main tasks: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 3+ years on the tools preferred.
