GMAW welder • Stephens County, Texas

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Stephens County, Texas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Full-time, day shift.
