Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Colorado County, Texas. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals Your main tasks: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
