Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in Titus County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 2+ years on the tools preferred. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
