Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Brooks County, Georgia. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
