Urgent requirement: canteen cook (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Madison County, Iowa. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. You will follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. You should have: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
