Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Stirling, Scotland. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence £1,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
