Moulder • Hansford County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a moulder in Hansford County, Texas. You will be based on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
