HSE officer wanted in Mahaska County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HSE officer in Mahaska County, Iowa. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On the job you will handle: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
