MIG welder — Colfax County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Colfax County, New Mexico. The role involves: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
