Lift technician wanted in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift technician in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. Your main tasks: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Full-time with occasional weekends.
