Long-haul driver — Calaveras County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Calaveras County, California. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. Day to day you will log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; report defects and book the unit in for servicing. You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Valid digital tachograph card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules 2+ years on the tools preferred.
