Great opportunity: pipe tig welder (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Clarke County, Mississippi. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
