Vacancy available: lift installation engineer (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Shelby County, Alabama. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
