Lift installation engineer wanted in Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Montgomery County, Maryland. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
