Floor screeder wanted in Cumberland County

Join our team: we are hiring a floor screeder in Cumberland County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Six days a week, one day off.
