Foundry worker wanted in Okpokwu

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Okpokwu, Benue State. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time, day shift.
