Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime Overtime paid at a premium rate.
