Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Montgomery County, Virginia. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
