Now hiring: gas pipeline fitter (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Montgomery County, Mississippi. You will be based in a gas distribution network. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
