Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Portage County, Wisconsin. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Six days a week, one day off.
