Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
