Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Washington County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Day to day you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift.
