Immediate opening: we are hiring a short order cook in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day to day you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
