Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Otero County, New Mexico. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
