Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Jim Wells County, Texas. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Six days a week, one day off.
