Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
