Urgent requirement: electrical technician (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an electrical technician in Madison County, New York. The job is in a power distribution substation. Ideal candidate: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience • Normal colour vision for cable identification Your main tasks: • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
