We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites The role involves: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
